The group "K-Pax Bluesband" was created and founded in 2005 by Rudy De Marie, guitarist and singer of the group.
It pays tribute to the blues revival pioneer of the '80s that is none other than Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble ...
Rudy who plays the guitar since the age of five, has fallen madly in love with the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble at the age of 16 while listening to the fabulous track "Riviera Paradise" ... A song "jazz & blues ride" where the SRV guitar touch is just magical!
Since 2005, the group has today a few hundred concerts all over Belgium and sometimes in France ... They have already performed at the famous night Blues of Charleroi and Montigny-Sur-Roc, at the famous Jazz & Blues festival. the Madelonne farm in Gouvy, a preview of Ana Popovic at the "Ploogstert Blues festival", in various radios such as "Classic21 RTBF", Passion FM, radio quartz fm, telesambre ... Soon in March 2019 they will have honor to play a concert in the famous mythical "Spirit Of 66" hall in Verviers! This undeniable place of Blues, jazz & soul where the big American sizes frequently occur during their tour in Belgium ...
